Jason Hennessey

Jason Hennessey is an internationally recognized SEO expert and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in organic search. A self taught practitioner, he began reverse engineering Google’s algorithm in 2001 and developed deep expertise in technical SEO and search strategy. He became particularly recognized for his work in the legal industry, helping law firms improve organic visibility in highly competitive search markets. Hennessey later wrote the bestselling books Law Firm SEO and Honest SEO, which document methods developed through years of practical search marketing work.

Hennessey has founded and successfully exited multiple businesses. He launched Everspark Interactive in 2009 and later sold the company. In 2015, he founded Hennessey Digital and grew it from a small consultancy into an agency generating more than $20 million in revenue. The company earned a place on the Inc. 5000 for six consecutive years before being sold to Trinity Hunt Partners. Hennessey also helped establish Herringbone Digital, a private equity backed platform that acquires and scales specialized marketing agencies. He serves on its board and is one of its largest shareholders.

His current work connects search expertise with business growth and the changing role of AI in digital marketing.
